Configuring External Panel

Access to the external panel for working with the cloud resources can be created for any project of the Cloud platform. You can provide individual users or company’s teams with space to work in the cloud and set resource consumption limits for them in the form of project quotas.

You can provide external access to the Control panel using the default link of the format or by configuring access to the address on your domain.

The login page can be customized. This feature may be interesting for resellers who want to apply their own corporate style and logo to projects.

You need to add users to the project to work through the external panel. To do this, create a user in the Control panel and add them to the project.

The login link in the format can be found in the Settings section of the project in the External panel block. To access the external panel, you need to enter your username and password.

Follow these steps to create a link on a domain in the format:

  1. On your domain registrar’s site, open domain settings for the subdomain you want to connect to the Control panel.

  2. Create a new CNAME entry for third-level domain names in the following format: CNAME

    Where: is the selected domain name; is the link to the external panel.

    _Please note that only the third-level domain names can be used for external links, so please do not forget to add an identifier or other name._
  3. Enter the NS server for entries. It may take 48 hours to update the DNS.

  4. Go to the Settings subsection of the project in the Control panel.

  5. Write the registrar’s entry in the CNAME field in the format.

The original external link will change to You will need to enter your username and password to enter the panel.

Applying Styles

Follow these steps to change the theme for the external panel in the Control panel:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the project.
  2. Click Edit in the Theme block.
  3. Set the fill color of the panel’s header.
  4. Upload the image (logo). Maximum logo size is 64 KB.
  5. Save your changes by clicking Save.
